KDS screen is blank
Either the realtime channel is disconnected or the filter is wrong.
Check the connection pill
Top-right of the KDS surface. If it's red (disconnected), the realtime transport is down. Check the status page at /status.
Check the location filter
The KDS only shows tickets for the location it's signed into. If a manager moved the terminal between locations, re-sign-in at that location so the filter matches.
Check the age-band filter
The KDS hides tickets older than 30 minutes by default. If someone left the filter at *active only* they won't see a freshly bumped ticket that was then recalled.
